The survey itself - should only take a few minutes depending on the survey you receive and the transaction you are trying to perform. The larger the transaction the more questions we can ask. As an example of a question we might ask you is: "where do you buy most of your records: 1) online 2) in a record store 3) at record conventions 4) I don't normally buy records"
Our GTV Local Store Pickup Service offers you a really unique and easy way of saving a ton of money on shipping! You can have a record dropped off at a record store near you. Whether you are looking for a specific record or just browsing, why not start off by looking in your community first? That way, if you do see something that you want you will only spend $4 instead of the huge fees that mailing would otherwise bring. It also allows you the comfort of inspecting the record first before taking it home.
IDEA: If you are travelling why not check out that community you are travailing to first before you leave? Remember the savings can really add up.

Did we mention that it is FREE? No limits, No Gimmicks just FREE!*. Upload as many records as you would like for free. We have done our best to accept all types of file systems (including Excel, and CSV's).
GoingThruVinyl Easy Uploader will allow you to upload pictures of all your albums and have all the data such as artist name and album name automatically filled out for you. Should you choose to use the GTV Easy Uploader there is a fee of 40 cents (US funds) to GoingThruVinyl. There are also no guarantees that all the fields will be 100% filled out correctly but there is a 3 day grace period where we allow you to check the results first. Let us know within the 3 day grace period and we will be happy to return your money if the fields are messed up. Please understand this can be a HUGE time saver and we think will always be worth it.

Our GTV Local Pickup Service is a feature that you will soon love and wonder how you ever did without. This feature can be a HUGE timesaver for you and prevent a lot of return type headaches. It works like this: instead of having to spend time and money on packaging and mailing the record (running the risk of damage + cost) why not drop it off at a store you're comfortable driving to? In addition to saving yourself potential headaches you will also be providing your customer a money saving service (building trust in your community).
* NOTE: Realize that all transactions are between you and the buyer. GoingThruVinyl WILL NOT GET INVOLVED IN DISPUTES BETWEEN THE BUYER AND THE SELLER. We do however reserve the right to delete your account at anytime for any reason no matter how petty. Please also realize that YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO SELL VINYL RECORDS ON THE SITE. NO EXCEPTIONS.

It works like this: When a local sale is made on the GTV site, the customer is given the option to pick his/her record up at a local pickup store (at a reduced rate). The local record store will be responsible for making sure that the transaction runs smoothly. In return, the store has the ability to not only make $2 off each record sold* but also bring in customers that he/she would have otherwise lost. It is our intent to be the first and only website to actually reach out to local independent record store in a meaningful way. We are hoping that in building a long-term partnership with you that you will in return help us promote the site. We have set it up so the more merchants and day to day customers you bring to the site, the greater your opportunities will be. We are completely changing the game by becoming the website that record stores actually want.
