S01 Ep07(3 of 3) – Giving Captain Sensible an evil look or “making my dreams come true…”

A Must Listen for All Marc Bolan, Syd Barrett, and Captain Sensible Fans!!!!!

Interview Date: October 13, 2011 @11am EDT

Special Guest: Captain Sensible (a.k.a. Ray Burns) the singer, song writer, guitarist (sometimes keyboardist) of the Damned. In this podcast we talk to the Captain about Bernie Bubbles, going on Tour with Marc Bolan of T-Rex, almost going in the studio with Syd Barrett and how the Captain came to wear his beret.  We get into his sudden solo fame as a solo artist and his crazy videos and as they say "much much more". One of my favorite interviews and a must listen.

“History is written by the victors.” Winston Churchill

When did Punk start: Who knows? Some say with The Stooges some say it was the Kingsmen. I’ve even heard a strong argument for Hank Williams Sr. But for our purposes concerning the Punk invasion of 1976-1977,
